AC & Heat:
The Nest thermostat is located on the bottom level near the front entryway.
Note: DO NOT use any other thermostat in the house by the air hockey table. It is for the swamp cooler and will make the air really humid and works against the other system, so only use the Nest.
Gate & Garage Remotes
In the mail slot across from the Nest thermostat should be some remotes. One is a LiftMaster one-button remote for entering either of the gates into the community. The other is a visor remote for your car. The Roman numeral 3 will open and close the garage (so you don't have to use the keypad each time).
* Just remember to replace those in the same spot when you leave.

Pool & Spa Info:
The pool is automatically set up and everything is on a timer system. The pool and spa is heated and is a salt water system. The pool man/handyman, Juan, will come once a week during your stay.
The pool filter will automatically start @ 8am and stop daily at 5pm and the pool lights will automatically turn on and off.
There is a pool remote control in the kitchen to the left of the sink. The only button you need to press is the POOL/SPA/SPILLOVER button. If you want to enjoy the hot tub, just press the button until the Spa button lights up. It takes 35 seconds for the filter to switch from the pool to the Spa setting and then the spa starts heating. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the max temp of 101. The spa automatically shuts off after 4 hours, but you can just toggle the remote back to POOL when you are finished using the spa. The system will automatically shut down nightly from 11pm until 8am. The pool is heated and is scheduled to maintain a minimum temp of 87 degrees.
There is an umbrella sleeve (hole) in the middle of the tanning ledge in the pool. Feel free to pop in the umbrella and enjoy the shallow, shaded area of the pool. Just take the umbrella down nightly due to wind. There is a $100 charge for a broken umbrella.
There is also an umbrella sleeve adjacent to the firepit between the pit and the pool.
Also, in the middle of the pool on either side, there are 2 holes for the volleyball net that is in the pool deck box.
The pool is equipped with emitters that spray water into the pool. To raise or lessen the spray, or to turn them off, go to the pool equipment on the west side of the house and turn the blue dials to open/close the emitter valves.

In the summer of 2021 the Parc La Quinta Homeowners Association banned longterm or overnight vehicles on any street in the community. Please ask guests to park in the driveway during their visit.
Pool Deck and Outdoors:
The barbecue is brand new and there for your enjoyment. It is attached to a gas line that runs from the house and you do not need to turn gas on or off.
There is a white extension cord for the pergola lights that is right behind the outdoor table. It should be set on a dusk-dawn timer, but if you need the lights on earlier, just switch the top of the plug to ON and enjoy the outdoors. Just remember to switch it back to auto before you head to bed.
There is also a new fire pit for your enjoyment. The propane tank is new but may require a refill during your stay if you use it frequently.
To use the pit, pull open the door in the end of the fire pit table and open the valve on the tank. Turn on the dial to light and press the button.
Please turn everything off when each time you are finished with the fire pit.
There is a convenient propane exchange at the gas station on the northeast corner of Washington Bl and Highway 111.
There is a small brown wicker bar on the pool deck with a Monster-brand speaker that you can Bluetooth to a device for poolside music
The putting green is for your enjoyment. Please keep it clean and keep your animals from using the greens as a potty! The putters and golf balls are in the indoor closet across from the bathroom on the bottom floor.
